尼泊爾昨下午再發生規模7.3強震，還在當地的慈濟、靈鷲山等賑災醫療團隊都回報消息報平安，並傳回當地現場照片，許多居民受到驚嚇跑到路上，街上擠滿摩托車、巴士，也有人幫忙打電話詢問家人狀況，醫療單位也將病床推到馬路邊。許多災民都說「晚上不敢再進屋睡覺了！」
慈濟基金會表示，當地醫療團傳回的消息指出，下午大地震發生時，原本在搭車前往災區的志工還以為是輪胎破了，但後來市區停電、電桿也折斷，原本還在發放物資的作業一度中斷，不過後來震後立即恢復發放，當地的佛光山、紅十字會等單位也都互報平安。
靈鷲山也表示，當時在當地的醫療團隊原本正在用餐，大地震發生後立即放下午餐趕回醫院，目前所有團員一切平安，但當地居民驚魂未定，仍有許多災民送醫，院方擔心餘震可能造成病房損壞，甚至傷及病患，因此立即將病床移至醫院戶外空曠處，醫療團隊仍持續在戶外治療傷患。
靈鷲山另透露，近日一位10歲小男孩全身癱軟不省人事，當地醫生束手無策，心急如焚的父親抱來求診，靈鷲山醫療團醫師張財旺研判，小男孩主要是身體瘦弱又未進食，導致血糖過低而休克昏迷；醫師當機立斷，以一小罐高單位葡萄糖拯救了小男孩。
